A simple "WHERE sent = 0" clause omitted from an sp to send from a table of outstanding emails and I've just sent myself somewhere in the region of 10,000 emails before I spotted the mistake and killed one of our exchange servers.

Anyone need a usually more careful DBA?

I think I got away with it, 15,000 mails sent in about 15 seconds and an hour to open outlook to clear them back out again.

LOL I think we have all been there.
