Sort Dates

In a query, how can I sort a date field, so that the records that come back are in order

15 June
21 August
6 September

Add another column and put this in the Field - ByMonth: Month([YourDateField]). Then uncheck the Show check box and set Sort to Ascending.

ByYear: Year([Datefield])
