Sort Sub-Form Data

Good Day All!

I have a report that auto sorts the sub-form data.
The data originally entered into the form is a different sort order.
How or why did it change on the report?
How do I undo the sort function so my report appears like my form?

Reports have their own sort order and ignore the sort order of a query. View>Sorting and Grouping

I ran into the same problem. The data was listed on the report in a different order than how it was entered on the form. It was suggested to me that you add an autonumber to the table that your subform is based on. It was also suggested to use a time-date stamp. I used the autonumber because I had a lot (~3000) entries. so far it seems to have worked. In the report, under sorting and grouping, group on the autonumber and set it to Ascending. This will put them in the order that they were entered. Like I said, this has worked so far, but i was cautioned against it.
