Hi,
I'm not sure how to explain.
I'm not hugely familiar with MS ACCESS. Unfortunately, I was asked if I could help change an existing MS ACCESS database that create MS ACCESS reports with single bar charts/graphs over a rolling 12 mth period. These reports basically measure performance metrics for each month. E.g. How many problem records did you responded from a total of X number logged. Lets the target of the metric is achievement must be > 95% then you meet the metric. Everything is nice and easy. However, recently we were asked to add a new measure on top of the current. So, for each month, from a single bar chart, I need to make it into a double-stack chart with the same color. The botton stack of the chart would be the original measures. The top part of each bar represents any adjustments we made for each month. E.g. original bar = 80% - this means we failed. However, due to certain artefact/evidence, we have proved we actually made 97%. I want to show the extra 17% as the top bar with an arrow graphic showing up or down depending on our findings (which could be both ways). So basically, the two stack bars for each month will have its line separating both portions but in same color. The top portion will show a graphic (arrow) pointing up or down depending on our status chosen in the data source.
Does this make some kind of sense? I never seen this kind of thing done before. I'm totally lost.
Many thks.
bboy.
