Storing E-mail Addresses (1 Viewer)

I have created a simple access database containing contact details and have a field which stores e-mail addresses.

At the moment it is a text field - is this right or should it be another type of field?

Also can i get it to automatically launch the e-mail software (outlook) when the email address is clicked on so that a message can be sent to this person. At the moment i am having to copy and paste the address into the e-mail message.

Hi

There's been quite a few posts on this over the last few months. Have a search for "Email" or some such similar thing. I know Hayley Baxter has been on this for a while.
