Storing elapsed times from a stop watch on a subform

I have a form – frmProjects – on which I have put a subform which has a stopwatch on it. What I want to achieve is that I can keep the cumulative times for any given project on any given day so that they can be totalled and billed accordingly.

I am sure this is easy but as I haven’t worked on databases for a long time I am a bit rusty and any help would be greatfully received.
