I am just learning Access, so this may be a simple solution that I was unable to find.

I have a subform which lists all records for a customer and allows for data entry for a new record. I am currently unable to use my mouse to move the cursor in and out of each field on the record. The only way I am able to move around the fields is to use the TAB button.

I have played around with the different property settings and cannot seem allow the mouse to place the cursor into the different fields for each record.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps the Sub-form container has somehow got it's Enabled property set to No and it's Locked property set to Yes. The properties of sub-form container are the ones that become available the first time you click on the sub-form when the form set is in desing view. The second click on the form will give you the sub-form's properties.

Alternatley perhaps the the individual field's Enabled properties are set to No and theirs Locked properties set to Yes.

If you have no joy with either of those, remove any sensative data from your DB, do a compact and repair on it, put it in a zip file and use the paperclip icon at the top of the posting window to upload it with your next post.
