I have created a setup roughly based on the Norhtwinds sample. I am trying to work with the data from a series of linked tables; Orders, Order Details, and Items. Each item has a category and subcategory. I've created an order form and an order details subform in which I wish to have a series of combo boxes which narrow your choices by category, subcategory then item.
However the subform appears to be attempting to enter new items instead of searching for the item when they are bound to the tables. Yet when I make them unbound, I either cannot find the data or when the subform drops to the second line it begins to duplicate the inputs of the second line back to the first line.
Any suggestions on where I went wrong?
