I have searched on multiple forums and found it is not as easy as you expect it would be. I tried making this work with forms and subforms in the 'normal' way, but this does not allow me to make a 'sort of' freezepane effect as is possible in Excel.
Attached is an example that i've build that does the trick.
Though quick and dirty, and in need of some cleaning up and optimizing, this is a working example of how to achieve this freezepane effect.
I do not have much time and I wish to build this freezepane effect into the new version of the database I am working on, and my question to you is:
Please have a look and comment, advise, hint, tip or anything.
Maybe there is another (better?) way of doing this? Or a change in programming (the custom scrollbars) that could help?
Is this the way to go forward or should I leave it and find another way?
