suddenly combo autofill not is working ?

i got a form.. and in it thers a combo box where some data is getting filled.. once i changed the layout and the fonts of the form, the auto fill feature disappeared... i mean when i drop down the list, i get all the values but they want get auto-filled when i start typing..
i tried rebuilding the database, but problem still persists...
please help...
