hey folks. this is my first time posting on this excellent support forum. its been quite a lot of help to me already but im looking for some advice on how to layout one of my important forms.

if you wanna take a look at the DB look here

http://www.androomc.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/9.mdb

basically if you load up the 'sales' form you'll see where im having problems.

i have 3 main tables. customers, cars and sales.

when the user wants to make a sale, they choose a customer from the database or create a new customer. (they wouldnt need to see all the customers info so my little button should show all their details if required. if they want to create a new customer they should click a 'new customer' button and a form opens to let them enter the info. once they are done, i want them to return to the sales page, but with that customers ID now in place and a summary of that customer as if they'd selected them from the list (as before).

the bit for cars seems to work ok. it only lets you sell a car thats already in stock. its not laid out the way i'd like. ideally i'd like a similar 'summary of car but details a click away' setup like the customers would be.

also, how do i make models refine to only the allowed ones once a make is selected for vehicles?

any help with one or all of these issues, or even just some general pointers would be much appreciated.

thanks.
