Sum of a sum

I have a query that sums the amounts by account and that's no problem. But how do I get the same query to give me the total of all the sums?

Create another query using the first query as the source. You can then total the sums.

Are you using the query to generate a report? If so, the sums could be calculated fields on the report itself rather than in the query.
