Can you tell me how (in a form or report) I can get a sum of all records where the AFE is the same?

Try this...

Create a report and use the "Grouping/Sorting" function. Group/Sort on the AFE field. Then you can sum the amount in the header or footer of the AFE.

If you have an attachment I might be able to show you what I mean.

It's much easier in a report. Look in the Access help under the heading "Calculate a total or average for a group of or all records in a report".
