Sum total value by group?

is it possible to sum up different type of group?
For example..

a sales table contain date,brand,code,colour,size and qty
in this table there will be records that have same brand,code,colour,size but different qty.

is it possible to count the total qty by grouping the brand,code,colour,size ?

OK,
Sounds like a relatively simple process. Unless I am not understanding the question. Go to queries. Open a new query. Select the table in question. Goto view, click on totals.

Drag and drop all the fields you mentioned down. All the totals rows for each field will default to “group by”. You want to keep the [brand],

, [color] and [size] as “group by” in the totals section, but change the [qty] to either count or sum by clicking on “group by” and using the drop down menu.

It sounds to me like you might want to sum the quantities in each group, not count them, but maybe you do.
