summarizing data

I have a table (result of query) with three fields; sampleID, taxonomic group and locations. The data
is similar to this:

SampleID Location Group
1 Mpala Ascarid
2 Segera Cestode
3 Mpala Dictyocaulidae

I would like to summarie this so that for every taxonomic group and
every location, I get a count of the number of samples. My output would
be something like this:

Mpala Segera Lewa
Ascarid 12 6 4
Cestode 4 3 1

The numbers represent the count of samples

How could I possibly do this?

create a total query, group by taxonomic group, then by location and make a count of the sampleid.
