Summarizing fields in report

Hi,

I have designed a report which contains category of teams.I have added group headers to categorize the data.now i want to summarize the total of some fields team wise.please let me know how to add summary(like total,sum,count) to the fields while desining reports.


Any help would be appreciated.

Go into the report in Design View and go to VIEW > Sorting and Grouping and then select the group up on the part where it lets you set the sorting (ascending/descending) and click on the appropriate group title. Then, down in the box below you can select GROUP FOOTER YES and it will add a footer for you.

You can then use

=Sum(Nz([YourFieldNameHere],0))

to get the sum of the field. I added the NZ function as it will deal with nulls which would cause the sum to not work if they exist.
