First time poster.
I wrote a formula in CR XI that summarizes data for a group under certain conditions and it returns a value. I cannot summarize the data in the group for a report total. The error message is "this field cannot be summarized". It seems like a very simple command. I ended up exporting to excel to get a sum. There must be a way of forcing the report to complete this simple task.
