I would dump that switchboard and use a from and command buttons. You are trying to use the Mouse Over events and that, I believe, is part of your problem. The Switchboard has very limited flexibility so I never use it. I don't know what you are trying to do as your program locked Access and when I got back I compiled the db and that helped, but there are other problems and I did not investigate them.
