I've just changed from Access 2003 to 2007. In 2003, I had a quick and dirty way to allow users to update data in a table using the inbuilt switchboard manager.
The user goes to a sub-switchboard from the main switchboard then clicks a button which uses a macro to run the open table command. The user would then edit the data and close the table manually and return to the main menu in the switchboard.
Now this does not work in Acc2007 - if I do not open a table from the sub-menu the return command works fine, but when I open a table and then close it, the return function stops working.
I've rebuilt the switchboard from scratch but not yet imported to a fresh db.
any ideas?
Thanks,
Henry
