Synchronization Code Needed

I have written a small program to automatically synchronize a design master and its replica every night at about 4 AM. The program logs whether or not the synch was successful, any error numbers and descriptions, and reports a count of record conflicts in the design master. I was wondering if there was a way to find out how many records were updated during the synchronization process without actually going through every table and matching every field.
