Tab control form

I have a fairly basic form that has a number of buttons attached for various things ... record navigation and filtering. They all work fine when i am using the form as a standalone, however when I put the form on to a page 1 of a tab form my filter stops working and asks me for a parameter [personID]. I have deleted and recreated the filter query , button & all other things I can think of but still no good.
