I have a main form with a subform. The subform has 2 subforms that I am trying to put on a tab contol (2 tabs). I am able to add the tab control and then the two subforms and set up the child/master links but when I go to view the main form, I get parameter errors and when I go back to design mode the subform I placed on the second tab is gone! I have tried this numerous times with the same results. I have searched the forum for a while and not found what I am looking for. ANd MS Access help file is a joke.

I am doing all of this in design mode of the main form, clicking on the subform and then the tab controls. Could this be the problem? Should I be adding the tab controls to the subform design separately????

Anyone have this experience or can tell me what I am doing wrong?
Thanks

Thanks for your reply Pat. I honestly don't know what the hell happened. But no I did not place them on top of each other. Even when I tried to put both subforms next to each other NOT using a tab control, sometimes when I switched from design view to form view the second form would turn into the first form! It was weird. In the properties of the second form it retained the name of the second form but the record source changed to the first form.

Sometimes when I saved the design, the form would change right in front of my very eyes in design view! The second form becomes the first form. I finally started over and rebuilt all the forms and so far things seem to be holding. I don't know if the database has become unstable or what is going on. If you have any ideas I am wide open!
Thanks again.
Bewildered!
