Tab has no restrictions

when i toggle through my fields using tab, once it gets to the last field it doesnt stop or begin from the top, it creates a new record, how do i restrict it to stay on the current record.

Hi john thanks that helped partially because now it stays on the current record but, my autonumber still increases as if it is still moving on to a new record.

That sounds rather strange

Are you using the native Auto Number or a Custom Auto Number?

If you are Cycling through the Current record, that should not increment you Auto Number. Can you post a copy of your DB?

ok the form with the problem is Notification of Additionals
is Access 2010 ok or do u want it in 2007

John it was my filter i set it to ="FormPrimaryKey" and its sorted.
