Table, report, queary ???

Before hand thanks for the help and I honestly appologise for my Access Ignorance.

I hope this is simple and does not require and code. all i need is to show a report on basically who, what and when.

I need to report, how many times a person has done something from a date.

Example i'd like to see on the report:

FRED

Florida

12 mar 08 - 15 Mar 08
Maine
1 jan 09 - 15 jan 09

Wilma

Ohio 12 jul 09 - 15 jul 09
01 oct 09 - 10 OCt 09
08 feb 07 - 9 feb 07

Maine 1 jan 09 - 15 Jan 09

Indiana 15 jan 08 -16 jan 08

etc, etc ......

My table is very, very basic. the "state names" above are in a drop down and for the dates, I have a filed for each (which i know can be done differenty)(thats my ignorance kicking in)

If someone can provide some table, queary and/report guidance I would be very thankful.

You will find that people are not keen to provide off the shelf solutions. If you post your attempt at solving your problem and explain why it is not doing what you want then you may well get suggestions on how to fix the problem.
