Tabs - Access Upgrade To 2003

Hi

I developed a database with some forms in access 2002
I have just upgraded to Access 2003 -

Im having problems with all my tab controls - if i select one page, then another, and another... whether im in design view or form view the tab controls get messy.. what do i mean by messy? well the 8 tabs appear to merge into one... the kind of thing what happens when the screen freezes etc.

This doesnt happen if i create a new tab control.. but i really cant recreate all my tabs.. i have over 12 of them with at least 8 pages per tab control using events etc.

Anyway of resolving this one? The new 2003 style controls look funky.. but i actually prefer the old style too..

Screen Flicker

also to add to that......

since the upgrade. if i hover the mouse over the controls in form view the screen flickers....

i am not using any events which could cause this problem... ???

ive been doing some experimenting.......

- using access 2003
- if i create a form and use a tab control, but set the style to buttons
- the buttons merge together when selecting through them
- if i create a file and load onto another computer with access 2003 - the buttons also merge together and the screen flickers

could this be an error after installing 2003, i am running both access 2000 and 2003 on my computer - could this cause conflicts?? I have just installed the latest jet 4.0 service pack too... whether this could cause problems?

Access 2003 behaves differently with the tabs. Set the style for your tab control back to "Tabs" and it will look and function like you are used to.

My test also showed the flickering you mentioned when I changed the style to buttons.

hi...

i created a new form on a different version off access 2003 (diff computer). The same occurs - when using together they merge together and it looks like the screen is freezing.

the flickering - well it flickers only when using a tab-control whether its style is buttons or tabs

The version before (access 2000) i have no problems, but i just bought the visual tools for office 2003 for deployment...
