Tbl Relationship

Hi all
I have an action make tbl qry that has a relationship with another table. To update the tble, the qry delets the existing tbl but can't because of the relationship to the other tbl. I need a way of allowing none access users to simply press a button (run a macro) to delet the relationship, run the qry and then re-establish the relationship...can anyone help

I don't understand why you have a relationship between the two tables if you are deleting the one side table. You will no longer have any Key to identify the orphaned records on the many side. It sounds like you don't need a relationship.
