Well this is the thread about TempVars, so you can reply here. I only linked to that instead of re-posting the same text. You know, normalization thanks for your input. I still think TempVars have a place though, at least for the examples I provided. As usual with Access, there are many ways to do the same thing and often it's not a case of right or wrong but sometimes what's easiest, most efficient, preference, or some other reason.
