Text box calculation

I have a Yes/No box in my report. I want to split he data into yes and no, calculate data in a summary at the end of the report. I have used a text box and tried:

iif( [Yes/no box] = true,=sum([data]))

This only shows one of the records not the total!

I'd do it like this...I'm sure it's not the "correct" way but should work (mind you if your report is based on a query wouldn't it be easier to sum the data there?)...

....beside your data box place two unbound text boxes. One of them =[Data] if the [Y/N Box]=true. One of them =[Data] if the [Y/N Box]=false. Make the text boxes not-visible and also make the Running Sum property "Over Group".

Then chuck another couple of boxes where you want your totals to be and make them equal the value of the original two invisible text boxes.

Does this work? Does this make sense?
