I have an adherrance DB that users log their activities on that write to a standard text file format ( User ID, LogIn Time, LogOut time, Logout reason, LogOut Duration ). Access is linked into this. Every morning the text files are deleted as the data is pulled elsewhere for storage. However, the next file is named exactly the same as the last one. The query that I have built off the text file works fine but the report off the query gives me a "system cannot find filename link" error. All ideas gratefully recieved.
It works fine until the file is removed but Access is only open when the file exists, regardless of wether it is a new one or an old one. What is the report really doing?
