A message from CJ_London reminded me about the PostalAddress property of textboxes.
I had noticed that property myself several years ago when scrolling through properties using intellisense but couldn't work out how to use it.
The property has been around since A2003 but there's almost nothing about it online
If you click the property help or do a google search you will find this information https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/api/access.textbox.postaladdress.
and this older version (almost identical)
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/office/developer/office-2003/aa173204(v%3Doffice.11)

I had another look today but I’m still clueless as to where the settings it describes need to be added. It sounds like they need to go in the Format property but that didn’t work. Tried the SmartTag property – failed as well

The help file mentions the PostalAddress Property wizard but I’ve never seen that either.

I also found this link https://bytes.com/topic/access/answers/662382-postaladdress-property with a reply by Allen Browne suggesting you need to add language support for Japanese, Chinese or Korean! Not sure where he got that from but I tried adding each of those in turn – the property still doesn’t appear in the list & I still get errors trying to apply the settings

Does anyone know anything about this obscure property?
Perhaps if Shane Groff can be alerted to the post, I might get a definitive answer…. ;)

NOTE: I'm also going to post this at UA

I see no use for it in the west.

Under:
Language-Specific Properties and Methods
the help file also lists PostalAddress under this comment:
... only available if support for Japanese, Simplified Chinese,
Traditional Chinese, or Korean is enabled through Microsoft Office
Language Settings.

Thanks Ranman.
I didn't think of checking that part of the help file and explains where Allen Browne's comment came from.
However, if you read my answer, you'll see I added the languages Allen mentioned as a test but it still didn't appear on the property sheet … though Asian Line Break now does (whatever that means)
