if you please .. how can i open my database .. with message " the database you are trying to open requires a newer version of microsoft access "
its by access 2013 and my current one is access 2016 ..

are you opening it in a2013?

once you already opened it in Higher version,
access put some system table to it which are
not present on the previous version.

you develop your db in Lower version if you want to distribute
it among other pcs that has other version of ms access.

otherwises, upgrade the other pcs to new version.

never, modify on mixed version.
always stick to one version and modify it there.
