I imagine that everyone of us, at one time or another, has had a spectacular programming failure. Recently the App to record the results of the Iowa caucus had one of those spectacular failures, which happened to gain National attention. How the Iowa caucus app went wrong and how open source could have helped.
"The root problem wasn't with the groups behind the misfiring application, IowaReporterApp; it was with a fundamentally flawed software development process. ... The app was insufficiently tested, didn't install properly on many phones, and frequently failed to perform as expected. In short, the app was ripe for failure. Even before the caucus, many experts were concerned about the app's security."
Is there a unique learning experience (beyond obvious steps, such as testing) from this failure for Access developers when developing an application?
