Meta paid $14.3 billion for a stake in Alexandr Wang's Scale.
Meta has poached a guy from Apple who told them he can do AI, by paying him $200 million to change desks.
Ilya Sutskever's company is valued at $32 billion and Mira Murati's Thinking Machines is valued at $10 billion. Neither has a product, or revenue.

Is the key to these extraordinary amounts of money for none existent products, buckets of air, or bunches of tulips available only to people with strange sounding surnames? Or is it all simply another DotCom bubble about to burst?

And how does anyone know if all or any of these people are actually using an existing AI to create new AI in a sort of weird virtual perpetual motion that will never actually exist? A bit like a politician's promise about stuff they know little to nothing about.
