isnt there a thread tool in this forum such as "SOLVED" to indicate the post as Solved?

I've started so few threads I had to go back and look for some old ones to experiment on.

It looks like you can "Close" a thread but you cannot set it as "solved". Jon, the owner of the site, says he's upgrading vBulletin to the latest and greatest so maybe that will be an option in the next version.

another idea might be to "autoclose" threads after a certain period - to avoid old stuff getting resurrected. probably better to start a new thread, then reactivate an old one, in some ways. Is that feasible?
