Hello All,

This must be such an easy problem to resolve I feel almost embarrased to post the thread! But here goes.

I have a textbox on a main form which is linked to the OnTimer event to show the current time (seconds included.) When you left-click on the form and keep the key pressed, the seconds freeze; when you let go, it's as if the time has caught up with itself and all is well. Is there anyway to stop this freeze from happening?

Regards.

I too have noticed that you can pause the timer event by left clicking the form. I am not aware of a way to prevent that from happening.

I trust that you are not displaying and updating a clock on your form every second using the timer event?!? That can suck up your users system resources and cause all kinds of problems. The system clock in the right corner of your Start bar should suffice.
