:( Hello All!

I am (unfortunately) working in Office 97. I have an Access report that I need to export into Excel. This report has groupings, totals, and percentages. It has about 850 pages. The query the report pulls from has about 35,460 rows. When I export the report, I get "There are too many rows to output, based on the limitations specified by the output format or by MS Access". I get this when it reaches 390 rows.

Can someone PLEASE help me get this report to export to Excel?

Thanks in advance to ALL!!! I really appreciate all that anyone can do!!!!

Do the calculations in Excel if its making the report too big.

Or, cut down on the data being exported, smaller time scales or whatever

Or, why do you need to export?

If you have done all the calcs in the report (850 pages) and have all the groupings etc why export to excell cos it is gonna screw it up with layout

Export it to Word maybe or even via distiller to create pdf.

Think you need to examine why you are trying to send to Excel

If you are needing to use Excel for manipulation of the data, you may find that exporting a query, or using the Excel Com+ object model will be the way to go, rather than trying to export a report.
