totals from subreport

i have a report and a subreport. on the bottom of the report i want to add the total from the first report and the subreport.

the problem arises when the subreport has no data. i then get error#.

basically if there is no data in the subreport, i would like the total from the subreport to be = 0 and then the two would add nicely.

any suggestions.

Why don't you set the default value of the subform txtbox to 0 and make sure that field is visible on the main report. It will also show that there is no financial total for that sub report.
