Hi!

I need a help.
I would like to (if possible) to place into Form an object that could create a Tree-like menu structure. The source from this object should be table/query.
Is this possible?

Many thanks.

Krava :)

Hi RuralGuy!

It helped a lot!

Thank you very much!!!

Did you get the help you wanted? I seem not able to use the Tree thing at all. Is there a step by step way of setting up this tree in Access and customise it to suit ones needs or does one need to know codes?

Hi mwandira,

I have not personally used the tree view yet but I would bet it would really help if you "knew codes". There are 3 or 4 examples referenced in that link I provided and the hope is that one could download the example and study it and learn in that fashion. If you start a thread with a specific question on your situation and include TreeView in the subject, I'm sure one of the TreeView Guru's will assist.

Hello, RuralGuy!

So I am back to you with some additional question.

Do you have any idea how to change the Background Color of Tree View Control? I mean that the background color is white and we would like to change it to different color, if possible. I know that this is not the most important item to be solved, but... :)

Anyways, we did some tests and developments and we think it works great! We are very happy about this functionality!

Many thanks in advance!

Hi Krava,
I'm sorry but as I said, I have no experience using a Tree View control. If you want to post a demo db here, I'll take a look at it and see if I can answer your question. Or maybe someone with Tree View experience will respond to this thread.

Hi, RuralGuy!

I am attaching the sample DB with a Form with Tree object.
If you or somebode would have any idea how to change the background color (white at present) I would help us.

Thnank you in advance.

I'm sorry Krava, I can find no property or trick to change the background color. Maybe someone else will happen by that has a suggestion.

RuralGuy!

Thank you very much anyway!
