Trying to find records located among other very similiar records in the same column

I have a column full of records that are very similiar...example:
8EN41P901217<<<----------
8EN41SH62227
8EN41SH63227
8EN41P971228<<<----------
8EN41SU42225
8EN41P943225<<<----------
8EH161Q12216
8EN41SG81225
8EW18P912220<<<----------
8EZ606W12238
8EZ606W22238

I need to be able to filter out and not display the IDs above that do not have a red arrow. I only want to display the ones with a RED ARROW. The IDs above all have a letter 'E' in the SECOND position. The difference in the IDs above are that the IDs with the red arrows have a 'P9' in the 6th & 7th position.

The IDs that do not have the 'P9' I do not want to see.

So far this is what I have tried. When I filter out the ones I do not want that just have the 'E'......then it also filters out the one that I need (the one containing the 'P9'.

Can someone please help me create a query or some SQL code to do this?

Thanks,

B,

Mid(YourField, 2, 1) = "E" And Mid(YourField, 6, 2) = "P9"

Alternatively, you can use the Like operator in the criteria:-

Like "?E???P9*"
