Trying to Open report but creating PDF instead

Hi,

I am trying to open a report with VBA using:

DoCmd.OpenReport " rptNegTFinP6-COMMENTS-AreaMngr"

When I click the button it starts trying to create a PDF of the report.

What do I need to change so that I can just open the report?

Is there a pdf writer selected as the specific printer for the report in the report's design?

Since you are not specifying a way to open the report the default is to try to print it. I'm assuming your default printer is a PDF writer.
You need to change your code to specify a way to open the report:

DoCmd.OpenReport "rptNegTFinP6-COMMENTS-AreaMngr", acViewReport
