Turn off Auto Formatting in Access 2010

I'm trying to move some items around, and it keeps putting them into rows/columns that match the other fields. I've searched the help and here, but just want to move my fields over 0.5", and it makes it huge and moves it into place for me, but of course that's not where I want it.

Ctrl + A
Right-click any control and click Layout
Click Remove

No probs. It can be quite useful for lining up controls but I eventually remove it after they've aligned nicely.
