Unbound forms?

This is more a matter of discussion here, but I have been delving a little into using unbound forms for everything in access, and using VBA "SQL" statements to select, and insert data.

I know using bound forms is easier, but I am wondering if relying on them will hinder my work flow if I come to use other packages, such as SQL Server with VB?

Is there any reason to use bound forms over unbound forms?

Just curious as both seem to work ok.

Thanks,

Jordan
