update combobox in form

Hi,

i am trying to design a form, where i have a combobox, and when i do select a value in that combobox, the infos belonging to that record will be added to the other textboxes, and i do enter additional information and then save it to a different table. Mz problem is that i am not able to do it that way that when i have selceted a record in the combobox, the data of the record appear in the textboxes.

in the text boxs where you want your data set their record
source to
eg =me.comboboxname.column(1)
the 1 represents the 2nd column of the combo box rowsource

thanks for your repley, but when i do that no data appears in the textfields.
I have one combobox at the top of the form, i do have additional textboxes below that. I want the form to show the data linked to the combobox content to appear in the textboxes, add 2 more boxes and to be saved i a different table then the source is. Maybe you have a cloue for mz problem.

how many columns have you set in the
column count property of the combo box
you may find it is set at 1, set it at how many columns
is in the rowsource
