Hi forum,

I connect an Access form to a Visual FoxPro table with OLE DB Provider for VFP.
My question is, is it possible to update, but not only read, these tables using the form?
So far, when I try to update a record in the form I got the error from the MS Cursor Service: "Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors."

Thanks for your help.

I don't know for certain because I haven't ever used FoxPro tables from Access but the problem could be:
1. The file doesn't have a primary key
2. FoxPro needs to be loaded on the machine so the OLE DB Provider is available.

Thanks, Pat.

I tried with other tables and I was able to update certain fields. So it seems to be, as you say, a matter of indexes.
