Update querie help please

Hey, well i have a table full of purchase orders and i want to be able to append new purchase orders to it without duplicating the originals or deleting them, so i was hoping there was something you could do where it looks in the table and just adds new purchase orders,

How do you currently add records? If you use a form, bound to that table (or better still a query based on the table) you just need to move to the last, blank record, and a new record will be inserted into the table. This is also possible in table view just by going to the last, blank record.

To avoid duplication of Purchase orders, in the table design, index the field and set the Allow Duplicates to NO.

I fear, however, that this does not answer your question. If not, post your problem in a little more detail.
