Update query?

I have a question, I need to update my custom DB, problem is, the database is on 2 different computers. One in the office, and one in the field. I need to update the one in the office with the new information from the computer used in the field. I have a 1-1 relationship on the DB, because it was once 3 DB merged into one. Help?

On your office computer, create a link to the table in the db copy from the field. You will need to run an update query to update existing records that were altered in the field, then an append query to add new records that were added in the field. Update Query?

Thanks for your help on my problem, but now I have another, when I ran the update query the way you told me it worked just fine, but it won't let me update a second time with more new information. What am I doing wrong?
