Use of calendars

I'm reasonably OK in Access, but a complete novice at VBA and I'm trying to get to grips with making a calendar work.

Objective: To be able to click on the calendar date and then refresh subform(s) so that the data is refreshed to the selected dates.

I've done some searching (and seen an example of it working) but get lost in all code.

Is there a plain English version of how to set something like this up? It's not very important, I just think it's such a cool feature that i would like to utilise

Also have a look at Uncle Gizmo' calendar. I use it all the time and it is asy to implement.
