user level security

Can anyone tell me why - when I cannot set up User-level security from the
wizard.

I tried setting up a fresh test database (with a tables,queriy, form and report), then going to TOOLS - SECURITY - USER-LEVEL SECURITY WIZARD. This works ok so far. I am then asked if I want to create workgroup information. I select the NEXT optIon using the default
values. The wizard then moves to a screen which askes me what database
objects I want to secure ...... and here is where it fails. The selection
box window does not contain any objects. It is only an empty grey box!!!
Above the box are a number of tabs which indicate that I should be able to
switch between pages 1 thru 7. They don't work! I get an error message
indicating that a macro does not exist!!!!

I have tried repairing the database and reinstalling the application just in case there was a problem with it without success!!!

Can anyone help? I'm going round in circles on this one!!!!!!

Are you also the administrator (or have at least Power-User rights) on that machine for which you are attempting this process?
