Good morning all - I'm not a COMPLETE rookie, but it's been a while since I messed with Access at all.

I own a cabinet shop and my excel spreadsheet that I use for estimates has become a monster. I am trying to create a database that will do the same thing. I have a table for; lumber species, door panel style, door frame style, unit pricing, and customer bid info.

Created a form using the customer bid info, and I'm trying to use a list box to update some of the fields (lumber, door style, door frame style). I finally managed to add comboboxes and have them update the appropriate field on the form, but it does NOT save to the table. I am quite sure I am overlooking something simple, but any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I actually think I solved my own problem, I was using a separate combobox to update the field instead of converting the existing field to a combo box and changing it's source.
