using forms to record data to table

Hey,
just a quick question wondering if anyone may be able to help me,
i have to tables
one contains the product details
and the other contains daily transaction details and retail price

I have created a weekly query which establishes the weekly quantities for a given year.

But here is the problem,I need to change all the retail prices to a weekly uniform figure,So i developed a form to do this but i cant update the recordset,since it the query retail price is a weekly figure but it is a daily figure in the table.
Has anyone got and hints or even a scrap of code to help me out?
Any help would be appriciated

It sounds like you might need another field in your table for the weekly price.
